While black is the most common color for 18th century bonnets, other colors do appear in period descriptions and artwork. 

Bonnet is unlined, has tie in back for adjustment. This is a slightly smaller version of our Child's size bonnet as we were working with a remnant of fabric. Best for the head of the youngest Miss.
