1920s Cotton Hungarian Style Dress

A beautiful example of Hungarian/Romanian style embroidered 1920s clothing. This dress is made from a very light-weight semi sheer pale yellow cotton, and beautifully embroidered on the bodice and skirt. Lovely smocking detail at the shoulders and around the dropped waist.

No side closure, dress slips on over the head.

There are a handful of tiny holes scattered about but none really impact the wearability. The dropped waist appears to have been shortened at one time as evidence of the folded fabric and line of darker stiches. There is a small area at the waist that is starting to pull.
