Lovely late teens to early 1920s era shirtwaist made of lightweight semi sheer cotton, lace trim, tiny pun tucks. Buttons down the front. A few tiny spots that should lift with cleaning. Period mend under one arm, see photos. There was once a line of gathering stitches across the lower back, now gone, does not impact the fit. Blouse is slightly longer in front and is meant to be tucked into a skirt that sits at or slightly above the natural waistline.
Label reads "The Matinee Waist Reg. US Pat Office"
My upper arms measure 11 around unflexed and I found the sleeves to be a close fit but not tight.

Waist 20 across (works well for my 30 inch waist)
Across bottom 21
Sleeves including cuff 24
Across Shoulders 13
Length from back of neck to hem 18
Buyers should expect all vintage and antique items to have some wear. They may not be 100% free of minor defects, as they have been loved already. Any imperfections will be described to the best of my knowledge.
