Custom Order - 1740s Mob cap

Custom made 18th century cap using our new 1740s cap design.

Suitable for the first half of the 18th century, this mob or lappet style works well for a number of impressions from middling to upper class depending on materials used. This is a very flattering cap for most women. This cap is based on several period images as well as surviving examples in museum collections, notably Accession Number T.307-1982at the V&A Museum
