1770s English Bed Gown Pattern
This bedgown pattern is based on original English bedgown c1760s/1770s. The bedgown is fully lined with long sleeves that can be turned up to make a cuff or left long. It is a looser fitting T-shaped garment that will fit a range of sizes.
Recommend fabrics are lightweight woolen flannels, linsey woolsey, linen, chintz and printed cottons.
Period construction is noted in the directions with alternate hand finish/machine directions also included. An easy starter project for the beginning seamstress. Instructions for sewing a petticoat, apron and handkerchief are also included which makes this a great option for someone just starting out in 18th century living history.
Available in S-M-L and XL.
Small will fit modern sizes 4-6
Medium will fit modern sizes 8-10
Large will fit modern sizes 12-14
Extra Large will fit modern sizes 16-18

2 yards 54-60 wide each of Fashion Fabric and Lining S-M-L, 2.5 yards each of Fashion Fabric and Lining XL
3 yards 45 inch wide each of Fashion Fabric and Lining S-M-L, 4 yards each of Fashion Fabric and Lining XL
