Pink 1940s Suit by Greenwood

A lovely and classic early 1940s suit in a bright pink wool. Made by Greenwood Fashions for Women. Strong shoulders, single front button, silky black rayon lining and matching pink wool skirt. Skirt has a kick pleat in both front and back, and buttons at the left side.

The skirt waistband has been reworked more than once but it doesn't impact its being worn. There is some subtle discoloration to the jacket that I think will lift with cleaning. Condition reflected in the price.

Bust best for a 32/34 can be worn slightly open so it might work for a 35 but don't recommend any larger.

24.5/snug 25 Skirt can be let out to fit a 28 waist if matching fabric is used to piece the end of the waistband.
