Staying warm, 18th century style means woolen flannel shifts, shirts and petticoats. We found this fabric in a basement in NYC, and knew immediately we should by all of it, so we did. Yes, it is warm, but winter will be back before you know it. We have washed a length for our own use on the delicate cycle in cold water, line dried. Perfect. Soft, loosely woven, lofty, warm, not bulky. We currently have 3 pieces available: one three yard piece 45 inches wide and two pieces that measure 2 and 1/4 yards by 56 inches wide.
