This workshop will focus on women’s caps and hair styles of the mid 18th century with a special focus on the 1770s. Attendees will have the opportunity to try on ready-made examples of caps and select one of each that best suits their tastes and living history needs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eInformation on period stitching techniques and trimming options will be covered. At the end of the workshop participants will have a finished, or nearly finished, cap of their own. Basic hand sewing knowledge is required.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e**Each participant will provide their own fabrics and sewing tools (scissors, pins, needles, etc.), a materials list will be sent following registration.
