Soldier/Sailor/Workman's Shirt Kit

Sold Out

This shirt is correct for the 3rd and 4th quarters of the 18th century for the soldier, sailor or working class man.  The soldier linen is less fine than our gentleman's linen and more suited for the lower classes.  We offer a variety of linen check fabrics.  Each kit has 2 1/2 yards of linen fabric (54-60 inches wide), our European linen thread, a package of John James sewing needles and our Manual of 18thc Shirt Construction containing directions for construction as well as original research on 18th century shirts.  Prices vary according to the fabrics chosen.   We are now offering sleeve buttons for shirts made by Ward Oles, At the Eastern Door.
